Alex obtained his Bachelor, Master and PhD degrees from Central Academy of Fine Arts and University of the Arts London, and completed postdoctor fellowship in Peking University. He has planned and carried out hundreds of Chinese and international contemporary art exhibitions. He is called "the youngest museum director in China" when he was appointed Director of the Today Art Museum, Beijing. He was elected as the president of Outstanding Youths of the World Association with honorary tile of “Outstanding Youth of the World- Artistic Ambassador” in Davos 2015.
