Only the Brave
In recent years, with the intensification of the greenhouse effect, high temperatures continue to occur in southwestern China from February to May each year. The scorching sun has withered the crops in the farmland, the water in the fish pond has dried up, the land is scorching mercilessly, and the forest is on the verge of fire.
On March 30, 2019, a serious forest fire broke out in my hometown, killing 29 firefighters. One year later, on March 30, before I had time to get out of this grief, a raging fire ignited in my hometown once again, killing 19 firefighters.
