AMNON BAR-TUR
After completing his national service as a military photographer, Amnon Bar-Tur was invited to photograph for the weekend edition of “Haartz,” Israel’s leading liberal daily paper. In 1966 Bar-Tur moved to England to study photography and design at the London College of Printing and Graphic Arts (known today as the College of Communication at the University of the Arts London). In 1968 Bar-Tur joined forces with friend Jeff Vickers to provide photography and graphic design services to high profile clients. His work was widely syndicated and published worldwide. In 1976, Bar-Tur moved his family from England to the United States to grow his marketing graphic design & production business. In 1981 he established C2media (now c2imaging) in New York City with an English partner, David Manning. C2media grew to be one of the largest digital imaging providers for major US luxury brands, with six offices and over 500 employees. Bar-Tur and his partner sold the business in 2010 after working together for 29 years. For the last ten years, Bar-Tur and his son Armon have worked together to develop student housing in the UK and Europe. They are committed to building the “coolest” affordable student housing in Europe.
