The BarTur Photo Award celebrates photographers who challenge how we view the world
Following a call out to all of those people that participated in this years competition, THE BARTUR AWARD is pleased to present Merav Maroody as the WINNER of $500 for her images around experiences of COVID-19 her local community, capturing everyday life under lockdown. THE BARTUR PHOTO AWARD would love to see more of your COVID19 images, and so we are now opening out the opportunity for anyone to enter our COVID19 Reflections Prize. Please see details below about the competition:
The BarTur Photo Award: COVID-19
Entry is free of charge.
The BarTur Photo Award: COVID-19 Reflections is open to anyone making photographic work around the impact and experience of the current Coronavirus global pandemic.
Submissions will be evaluated by a world-leading panel of judges drawn from our existing judging panel and some of this years' BarTur Photo Award winners.
There will be 3 prizes allocated:
First prize $750,
Second prize $500,
Third prize $250
All applicants maintain their intellectual ownership of the work.
Award Opening: Monday 8th June 2020
Award Submission EXTENDED Deadline: Wednesday 15th July 2020, 11:59pm BST
Winner Announcement: Monday 27th July 2020
